Privacy Policy

Opulux Designs ("we," "us," or "the studio") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect on opuluxdesigns.com (the "Site"), why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account information — when you create a free membership: your name, email address, and a password (stored only as a secure hash). Optionally, a birthday, avatar photo, and shipping addresses you choose to save.
• Purchase information — items bought, order totals, and the shipping details you provide at checkout. We never see or store your full card number: payments are processed by Square (and, for pay-over-time options, Stripe or their partners Klarna, Affirm, and Afterpay), who handle your payment details under their own privacy policies. If you save a card for later, it is stored by Square — we keep only a reference token.
• Email list — your address and name if you subscribe to studio updates, join as a member with the email option checked, or were on our list from our previous website.
• Usage data — standard analytics via Google Analytics (pages visited, approximate location, device type). Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you personally to us.
• Sign-in with Google — if you use it, Google shares your name and verified email so we can create or link your account. We receive no other Google data.

How we use it

• Fulfill orders, ship artwork, and deliver digital products to your account.
• Provide member features: saved favorites, easel-piece progress updates, class and download access.
• Send studio emails (new pieces, classes, guides) if you opted in — every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
• Send transactional emails you can't opt out of while using the Site (password resets, order confirmations).
• Understand what visitors enjoy so we can improve the Site.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share your data with anyone except the service providers required to run the Site (payment processing, hosting, database, image/file storage, email delivery, and analytics), each bound to use it only to provide their service to us.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics cookies for anonymous usage measurement. We don't run third-party advertising cookies.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from marketing email anytime via the link in any message.
• Update or delete saved addresses and cards from your account page.
• Account deletion — email us and we'll remove your account and associated personal data, except records we must keep (completed order history for tax and accounting purposes).

Data retention & security

Account data is kept while your account is active. Order records are retained as required for accounting. Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted (HTTPS), and access to collector data is limited to the studio.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
