Payment security & buyer protection
Opulux Designs is a small studio, but your payment is protected by the same infrastructure the biggest stores in the world use. Here is exactly what happens when you enter your card details, in plain language.
Your card number never touches our servers
When you pay on opulux.co, your card details travel over an encrypted connection (TLS) directly from your browser to our payment processor, Stripe or Square. Opulux Designs never sees, receives, or stores your card number, not even for a moment. There is no card database here to breach.
Processed at the industry's highest security level
Both of our payment processors, Stripe and Square, are certified PCI DSS Level 1service providers. That is the most rigorous level of certification in the card industry, the same standard the world's largest retailers are held to, audited independently every year. They process payments for millions of businesses, and they handle ours.
Buyer protection on every purchase
Every card payment carries your card network's dispute and chargeback rights, so you are protected if something ever goes wrong. Buy now, pay later purchases through Klarna or Afterpay also include each provider's own buyer protection program. You never give up protection by shopping with a small studio.
Your artwork is protected in transit too
Every original ships fully insured, packed by hand in premium protective materials, with tracking from our door to yours via UPS. Shipping is included on originals within the continental US. If anything arrives less than perfect, file a claim from your account with photos within 48 hours of delivery (or email customerservice@opulux.co) and we'll make it right through the insurance claim process, with progress updates you can follow in your account.
Clear cancellation terms
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. Because every piece is a one-of-one original, orders that have entered processing or shipping can no longer be canceled; damaged deliveries are always covered as described above.
