Four Unique Features I Added to My Resin Art Website (Part 1)

Running an art business online taught me something fast: a beautiful gallery is the price of entry, not the advantage. The features AROUND the art are what turn a visitor into a member, a member into a collector, and a collector into someone who tells their friends. So I'm starting a series where I open up my own resin art website, opulux.co, and hand you the ideas. Steal them. Adapt them. Build them into your own artist website. The whole point of learning from someone who already did the trial and error is skipping it yourself.
Here are the first four, in no particular order. A video walkthrough of this series is coming to my YouTube channel, so subscribe there if you'd rather watch me click through it.
1. A Supply List that works while you sleep

Every artist gets the same DM: "what resin do you use?" I answered it once, permanently, with The Supply List, a visual library of every pigment, mold, texture, and tool that earns its place in my studio, each one linked to shop.
The move that makes it a business feature and not just a nice page: visitors see the first eighteen items free, and a free account unlocks the whole shelf. It answers the question everyone asks, it earns a little affiliate commission when people shop the links, and it quietly grows my member list every week. If you make anything, you have a supply list in you. Gate the deep end of it behind a free signup and it becomes the hardest-working page you own.
2. Sold art should keep its page

Most shops delete or hide artwork the moment it sells. I built the opposite: a Sold Archive where every piece stays live forever, marked "Collected," with the collector's first name and city.
Three things happen. New visitors see proof that real people buy the work, which is the closest thing to reviews an original-art business gets. Collectors get a permanent page for their piece, part of its story and provenance. And search engines keep every page I ever built instead of hitting dead links, so my site only ever gets bigger in Google's eyes. Deleting a sold listing is throwing away marketing you already paid for.
3. Your bio link should live on your own domain

That linktree-style page in your Instagram bio? Mine lives at opulux.co/links, on my domain, wearing my brand gradient, and it keeps growing up: link pills, a drifting collage of my actual artwork where every tile clicks through to that piece's page, my social icons, a featured video straight from my YouTube channel, and my membership pitch, all on one screen.
Why it matters: every tap from social lands on MY website, not a third-party service wearing my name, so the visit counts toward my analytics, my pixel, and my search authority. And because I control it, the page can do what no link service allows: the lead button shimmies, the art sells itself in motion, the video plays without leaving, and the whole thing recolors itself when my brand palette changes. It took one page to build, it upgraded every social profile I have at once, and it has grown three new features since I first wrote this post. Try doing that with a template.
4. A trust page that answers the question nobody asks out loud

Someone about to spend real money on art from a small studio is quietly wondering one thing: is this safe? Most artist websites never answer it. I built a Payment Security page that does, in plain language: card numbers never touch my servers, payments run through processors certified at the industry's highest level, every purchase carries buyer protection, and every original ships insured.
None of that is exotic. If you sell through a modern payment processor, those protections are already true for you too. You're just not saying them. Say them. Put the page in your footer, link it from your FAQ, and let nervous first-time buyers talk themselves into the purchase.
This is part one
I kept my favorite features off this list on purpose, because this series climbs. Part two is live now and it's a Collector Circle exclusive: four conversion features, including a hover trick borrowed from luxury retail and the lock ladder that recruits members while I sleep. Part three goes deeper still, for Legacy Collectors only. If you want in the room, join the Opulux Collector Circle and the whole series unlocks along with every full-length class.
Not ready for the Circle? A free Opulux Insider account still opens the member posts, the full Supply List, and the studio's progress updates.
